Taylor-made trip to Ethiopia
The best way to travel to Ethiopia, tailor-made and privately, with everything organized to the detail. A different Ethiopia to have the chance to explore through its symbols and myths.
Ethiopia transports the traveler to a world anchored in the most primitive past. Its orthodox temples, still today venerate the existence of the Ark of the Covenant and its colorful ethnic groups of the south, of tanned bodies tattooed and ornate, keep their customs intact. Steep mountains of cotton terraces, chains of rose-dyed lakes, churches carved into the rock in Lalibela… Aromas of coffee and eucalyptus run through the changing landscapes of a magical Ethiopia.

Recommended season: spring
Ethiopia has a wide variety of climates depending on altitude and geographical area. The temperature usually ranges from 13°C to 33°C. Generally, the rainy season takes place from mid-May to September, while spring is the driest season. The rains are usually of short duration and it does not pose any problems for a trip thus any time of the year is good to travel to Ethiopia.
In spring, in the month of April, the Fasika – Orthodox Holy Week – is celebrated in Gondar, “The Camelot of Africa”. The whispering of sacred prayers and songs, the white robes of the faithful, illuminated by the dim light of the candles they carry, and the ringing of drums and systems create the mystical and devout atmosphere of the celebration. An experience the traveler should not miss if he travels to Ethiopia this season.
