This is how NUBA “Expeditions” began in 1994. A geographical club with colonial style where a small group of experts drew on their maps routes still unexplored, far from the tourist packages offered by conventional agencies.

Great adventure trips that remembered the old expeditions of the first explorers of the XIX century.

The Nuba tribe

Its name could not come but from a strong warrior tribe of the mountains of northern Sudan, The Nuba people. One of the most persecuted and admirable tribes, that we had the opportunity to know in our first prospections to the continent.

Its lost soul is still imprinted in our essence.

From expeditionary trips to exclusive and tailor-made experiences

Than the expeditionary model of the beginnings evolved over time as our travelers evolved as well. Their knowledge of the world was growing and the demand for customized and exclusive experiences was increasing too.

Specialization, differentiation and the absolute obsession to know in depth client expectations was our key concept. NUBA began to broaden its range of destinations, to create a network of trusted correspondents spread over no more than 65 countries and to create handmade product tailored to the traveler, with the highest quality and excellent service.

NUBA Group: an experience design company

In 2016 we embarked on a major project to add new capabilities to our value proposition in the luxury segment and offer new comprehensive, exclusive and personalized services for companies and incentives.
And GRUPO NUBA is born, leader in a professional and creative alternative formed by different identities that share the same DNA and are integrated as a single community with a common goal.

A commitment that each year we strengthen with the development of social initiatives and exciting CSR projects in sustainable tourism, such as creating training schools in underdeveloped countries, working with NGOs, sponsoring wild animals or creating pioneering sustainable programs in different destinations on the planet.

With the wind in our favor, we continue the journey towards the horizon with new dreams and challenges.
